Jaycees Donate to Lake Geneva Police

Lake Geneva Police Department Fence Donation 2011

The Lake Geneva Jaycees recently made a large donation to the City of Lake Geneva Police Department.  The donation allowed the city and police to purchase more crowd control fencing.  The Jaycees have bought several sections of this fencing for the City Street Department and Police Department over the last three years.

The fence is used at various events in the City of Lake Geneva throughout the year. The city uses the fence to close off streets during the Children’s Electric Christmas Parade, to protect students from vehicles at Central Denison Grade School, during October Fest and Winter Fest and during Venetian Festival each year.

The fencing not only replaces older and unsightly wooden fencing, but will last much longer and looks a lot nicer. The bright orange fence is interlocking and provides a safety barrier for residents and visitors to Lake Geneva.  This most recent purchase represents the last installment of fencing needed.
